cst 338: week 2

what was hard?

Personally, I'm figuring out how to work along side listening to the recording of the lab. I feel like it would be difficult to follow along even if it was live, because there's a level of multi tasking that I'm not used to. I have to be more conscious of things like typos, syntax errors, and the such. Otherwise, I also thought that the quizzes were hard, in the sense that I did them too quickly and didn't pay attention as closely as I should have. That one is on me.

what went well?

I thought that the requirements documentation was extremely descriptive. I also liked how in depth Dr. C went into explaining concepts over and over, even if he did it previously. I feel like this way, the reason and the "why" are linked hand in hand with the "what" that we're doing. I also liked that the project iterated on itself, and it makes sense why we're stopping when the part ends. I'm a bit nervous for part 4 (and the extra credit part 5), but it's ok! I'll ask for help when I need it.

how will these lessons influence my work next week?

I'm definitely going to pay more attention to try to avoid silly mistakes and context issues. I hope I do better on the quizzes next week!
