cst 338: week 7 and week 8
HW1
If I have to think about how I would approach HW 1 differently, I think that I would plan my project more with pseudocode. With Jotto, I spent a lot of time almost blindly following the video, without realizing that I would need to put in my own work. I wish I took the time to read the prompt first, and then watch the videos, because I had to do a lot of double work/catch up when I submitted the final Jotto assignment. But, I do feel confident that it would be easy the next time around.
2 wins from this class:
- Win 1: I learned Android Studio! I have some experience with iOS development, Obj C and Swift, since I needed to learn this to submit my application to WWDC. But, Android Studio was way different to me (and a lot harder still!) I don't see myself becoming an Android Developer in the future, but this was an interesting run.
- Win 2: Getting through the Markov project. For some reason, this project made me question everything, and I had to start a few methods over again. But, I stuck to it, and I planned the project out with pseudocode first, which made it a lot more digestible.
